Sofia Kendrick has always cherished her tiara. As the youngest daughter of a wealthy New York family, she’s lived the life of an American princess. But after two scandalous divorces and a breakup smear her name across the society rags, the shine from her crown has dulled. People call her superficial, even gaudy.
She’s nothing more than tinsel.
Desperate for escape and starving for peace, Sofia heads to Montana for a holiday weekend with her brother. But she doesn’t get the relaxing vacation she planned. Instead, she’s put to work in a bar alongside Dakota Magee—a man who does not want her help. A man who is set on teaching her a few lessons about real life and hard work. But Sofia has a couple of life lessons of her own to teach. Like how to fall in love.
Find your magic.
Chase the impossible.”
Such a sweet small town romance! I am a huge fan of Devney Perry and her very first book ‘The Coppersmith Farmhouse’ is still one of my absolute favorites. This Lark Cove book is sweet and sexy and very low angst. If you are a fan of small-town romance, you’ll love Sofia and Dakota’s story.
Sofia comes to visit her brother in Montana after an unflattering story is published about her. She has lived for years in the public eye and knows all about the pitfalls of fame and beauty. She is unexpectedly put to work in a bar, and actually meets the new challenge head-on.
If there’s one thing Devney Perry knows, it’s her gorgeous Montana setting and the hard-working inhabitants of small towns like Lark Cove. I loved Dakota! When he first meets Sofia, he has very low expectations of her but Sofia proves him wrong and rises to the challenge.
I loved that although Sofia seemed to have it all, she was really just a lonely woman searching for acceptance and love. This is a beautifully romantic story about two people who may not look right for each other from the outside, but who really get to know each other and fall in love, body and soul.
‘Tinsel’ is a sweet and swoony romance with a sexy hero and lovely supporting characters. This is the perfect book to get lost in for awhile with a nice glass of wine or two. A wonderful end to the ‘Lark Cove’ series of books.
