Trust is a wonderful, very satisfying conclusion to a beautifully written, deeply felt series. I highly recommend this fantastic series, all about terrible trauma, healing, and yes, some great d/s scenes. I love Stephan, he is one of my favorite Dom characters. The author really left us reeling at the end of Book 3, Truth, and I couldn’t wait to find out how Brianna would manage her life going forward after the end of that book.
You really need to read the the first three books in this series, ‘Slave’,’ Need’ and ‘Truth’. Sherri Hayes takes Brianna on an incredibly emotional journey from slavery to becoming a surprisingly strong character. There is nothing that happens quickly in these books, nothing rushed; instead the author creates the deep emotional bonds between Stephan and Bianna slowly, and with the support of a great cast of supporting characters.

My favorite parts of the book are when Stephan and Brianna are together. Their scenes together are at once very tender and scorching hot. The author also takes great care to explain the differences between BDSM and abuse, which can be a very fine line but which is explored in this series with sensitivity and great writing. Stephan is very loving and caring, and his character balances out some of the darker parts of the story. All in all, this is a very powerful series, expertly written and providing plenty of steam and emotional connection between the main characters. I loved the conclusion to Brianna and Stephan’s journey and I’m only sad because I have reached the end of their story!

When I walked through the door, Brianna ran over to me, throwing her arms around my neck. Feeding off her enthusiasm, I dropped my briefcase and picked her up, wrapping her legs around my waist before backing her up against the nearest wall. Holding her hips firmly against my growing erection, I kissed her hard.
Releasing her lips, I rested my forehead against hers as I used the leverage the wall provided and ran my right hand up the inside of her bare thigh. I loved it when she wore skirts.
