Read below for an excerpt from “Undying Love” plus a very revealing interview with the author, Nelle L’Amour!
EXCERPT:
With my powerful knees, I parted her legs,
repositioning us for the inevitable. I wanted our first
time together to be as good for her as it would be for
me. I stroked her folds, astonished how warm and
wet they already were. I found her clit and played
with it, rubbing and squeezing it. It grew hard
beneath my fingers.
She shrieked. “Oh, Madewell, you’re driving
me insane.”
I was turning myself on as I turned her on. Her
pussy was so exquisite! And my erection was at
its peak.
“You’re so beautiful,” I breathed into her ear, my
fingers never leaving her clit.
“Now! Fuck me now!” she cried out.
She groped my heavy arousal and inserted the
crown into her core. Inch by thick inch, I poured my
cock into her until I could go no further. She was so
tight. So hot. So wet. I groaned while she let out a
dreamy sigh.
Slowly, I withdrew my thick length, and just as
slowly, I slid it back down her hot, moist passage.
As hungry as my cock was, I wanted to savor the
sensation of being inside her. God, she felt good!
After a few more delicious, soft strokes, I picked up
my pace, pummeling into her deep and rhythmically.
Just like in my dream, she met my every thrust,
intensifying the outrageous pleasure she was giving
me. She groaned each time I hit her magic spot, the
erotic sound of her voice only adding to my ecstasy.
Oh, man! I was losing myself in her. Endless
tingles shot down my legs, from the inside of my
thighs all the way to my toes. I was on fire. She was
taking me to the edge. To the point of no return.
I knew she must be close too. She was panting,
her soft skin beneath me slick with sweat like mine.
She dug her nails into my back, the pain bringing
me closer to the brink. I pounded harder and faster;
she began to scream.
“Oh, baby!” I found myself saying. I couldn’t get
enough of her. With one last hard thrust, and a
grunt from deep within me, my cock exploded inside
her as her own waves of pleasure met mine.
“Oh, God!” she cried out.
Wasted, I collapsed on top of her and buried
my head in the hollow of her neck, inhaling her
intoxicating scent. Slowly, I pulled out of her. She
wrapped her arms around my back and, for the
second time tonight, she sobbed—this time softly.
“What’s the matter, Allee?” I asked urgently,
brushing her damp hair out of her face. Was it not
good for her? Had I hurt her?
She clutched her locket and gazed at me with
her tear-filled eyes. “Madewell, you were supposed
to fuck me. Not make love to me.”
I crushed my lips against hers, silencing her sobs.
Interview with Nelle L’Amour:
1. What was the inspiration for Undying Love?
I know romance readers want their HEA, but I wanted to take a chance and write an erotic love story that had a sad ending–a total tearjerker. Some of my favorite and most memorable books are tragic, including Hemingway’s A Farewell to Arms, Margaret Mitchell’s Gone with the Wind, and John Greene’s The Fault in Our Stars. Sad books are beautiful because they tug at your heartstrings, and tears, like raindrops, are cleansing.
2. Is this book part of a series?
There will be a sequel–Endless Love. There will be a HEA!
3. Do you have time to read? If so, what is the last book you read?
Truthfully, between writing, editing, and promoting–oh yeah, and being a mom–I don’t seem to have time to do anything! But I do make the time to read. I love to read other independent writers’ erotic romances. They inspire me. Right now, I’m reading Jodi Ellen Malpas’s This Man and loving it!
4. What are 3 things that your readers don’t know about you?
LOL! There are a zillion things they don’t know about me. And I wish I didn’t know either. But here are three:
1. I can never get any saying or idiom right. For example, I’m likely to write, “Kill two stones with a bird” or “she sighs a breath of relief” in lieu of “breathes a sigh of relief. Here’s my best one: polka face vs. poker face. LOL There must be a name for this sad syndrome.
2. When I’m not writing in my PJ’s (which is 90% of the time), I’m a fashionista. I serve on the Board of the Costume Council of a major Los Angeles museum, where I organize glam events to raise money for the museum’s Costume and Textiles Department. These wonderful events, which range from movie premiers to interviews with top designers and fashion luminaries, give me the opportunity to dress up and pretend I’m Hollywood royalty.
3. I’m an animal lover. I have two dogs and a cat–all rescues. I sleep with my love boy Pepper, an overweight Rat Terrier, and my tuxedo cat, Socky. I also sleep with a cuddly bear–my husband.
5. Do you listen to music when you write? What’s your favorite song right now?
While noise doesn’t bother me, I cannot listen to music when I write. However, when I take breaks, I listen over and over to songs that inspire my writing–in the case of Undying Love, Jason Mraz’s “I Won’t Give Up.” God, I love that song!
My new favorite song is Pink’s “Just Give Me a Reason” which she sings with Fun’s Nate Ruess. I can’t get enough of it. It may even inspire a novel!
6. Do you have other books published?
Yes. Seduced by the Park Avenue Billionaire was my first erotic romance series and got me into Amazon’s Top 100 Erotica authors for a New York minute. Under another pen name, I have written the highly rated fantasy/romance series, Dewitched: The Untold Story of the Evil Queen.
7. Mountains or beach?
Definitely, the beach. I love oceans. Always have. They are magical and forever.
Thank you, lovely Book Bellas, for this wonderful opportunity!
Thank you, Nelle!
