In Night Moves, we have the story about a spoiled girl named Lindsey, an only child who always gets her way. She meets her match when she catches her boyfriend cheating on and heads off to Belize for a holiday. There she meets Easton, a totally hot and controlling Alpha male who just beds them and leaves them. Easton has his own issues with women, because he was never shown love from his mother and he was betrayed by an ex. He transfers all of this “baggage” to all of his hook ups. He manipulates Lindsay to work with him, and at the same time, she sleeps with him because they have a connection they both can’t avoid. But can he let go of his past and admit he loves her?
“I’ve a tendency to try and lead when slow-dancing,” I warned him. His lips twitched, and amusement glimmered darkly in his eyes.
“You have no worries there; I don’t intend to allow that,” he responded softly. “You’ll learn to follow, I promise.”
This book hooked me in and I want to know more about these characters! I like Ms. Smith’s witty writing style; the book is well written, even though we have heard parts of this storyline before. But I loved the characters, and the sex was HOT with the sexy Alpha in the mix! I felt the story got a little rushed toward the end, but overall Night Moves is a good, very sexy and entertaining read.
