I think we all have a celebrity crush (or two!) For Heather, that person is Eli Walsh. She’s loved him from afar ever since he was in a famous boy band. Heather has the chance to see him in concert and for just one night, she decides to let loose and forget the harsh realities of her day-to-day life. In a one-in-a-million chance, Eli notices her in the audience! They spend a fantastic evening together but Heather literally runs away. She has a lot on her plate and is a little embarrassed by what happened with Eli.

What could ever come out of a one-night stand with a rock star? Especially with Eli, who has a reputation as a playboy. Heather is very real, very grounded and very wary of men. She’s recently divorced and because of her ex-husband, has terrible self-esteem. But Eli is intrigued!

Heather is devoted to her sister and doesn’t have the time or emotion to devote to chasing a fantasy. Even though Eli and his band played a huge part in her life when she was younger, she cannot truly believe that someone like Eli would be interested in her. I loved how hard Eli worked to connive Heather that she was beautiful and sexy and deserving of his attention!

I love a good story about real-life people with real-life problems and real jobs. There are no billionaires here, just a rock star with a heart and a real woman with great friends and real heartache in her life. I didn’t totally feel the connection between the main characters BUT I still very much enjoyed the story. Corinne Michaels fans will love this book. If you are in the mood for a little bit of fantasy, some raunchy humor and a good, old-fashioned happily-ever-after, then you’ll love this story.
