Synopsis:

Hello Sayer!! I will keep this review spoiler-free because this book must be read AFTER Constant, book one in this dare I say epic duet. This is the perfect conclusion to this sexy, intense story and picks up immediately following the disappearance of Caro’s daughter. The most important reason for Caroline leaving her old life behind was to protect her child and now she needs Sayer’s help to get her back.

Sayer has loved Caroline from the time they were kids. He always knew she would be his savior, the one bright light in his otherwise grim and dangerous life.

I wasn’t expecting such a fast-paced, sexy thriller but Rachel Higginson really turned up the heat in this one. Will Sayer and Caro ever break free of their past? Will the Russian mafia always be stalking them? This story wrapped everything up perfectly with intelligence, passion and non-stop thrills. I absolutely love a second-chance romance and this one is one of my favorites.

Caroline is a strong, smart and feisty heroine and Sayer is a broody, possessive alpha who will not give up until Caro is safe. He has tried to outsmart his old gang but will they be able to protect Caroline’s young daughter and themselves? The ending was perfect. I absolutely loved this duet and would love to read Frankie’s story next!
