I loved seeing Twitch with his son but make no mistake, this is a dark crime romance with lots of suspense. There are many dangerous characters threatening Twitch and his family. Will they be strong enough to withstand all the danger and betrayal?
The author sets the story up for other books to follow; there is lots of danger and long-simmering feuds. Be warned that there are some uber-dark moments in this book. But I very much appreciated the conclusion and the wonderful prologue.
