About the Book:
The electrifying #1 New York Times bestselling authors of THE WIFE BETWEEN US and AN ANONYMOUS GIRL return with a brand new novel of psychological suspense.

Until Shay meets the Moore sisters. Cassandra and Jane live a life of glamorous perfection, and always get what they desire. When they invite Shay into their circle, everything seems to get better.
Shay would die for them to like her.
She may have to.
My Review:
I was so excited to dive into ‘You Are Not Alone’ because I LOVED this duo’s previous books and recommend them to everyone! This book started off on a very strong note for me. This authors begin the book with an attention-grabbing scene, that immediately made me want to keep reading. Unfortunately, for me the rest of the story just did not keep up the expectation and pace of the opening scenes.
I found the main protagonist Shay to be very likable, but the rest of the characters just fell flat for me. I loved Shay’s obsession with numbers and order and I certainly respected the characters’ motivations; however, they just did not have any kind of real-world feel for me and I did not feel much empathy toward them. (This review will be vague because this book is filled with spoilers and is best read without any expectations or knowledge of the plot.)
The pace of the book felt a little tedious at times, but because I am such a fan of the authors, readers who love psychological thrillers should definitely give this one a try. Lots of readers loved this one, but the characters and the conclusion just felt unsatisfying to me. The authors write brilliantly together, but this one was not a favorite of mine.
Overall, I cannot wait for the authors next book because I am sure it will be just as clever and engrossing as their earlier thrillers!
Thank you to the publisher and Netgalley for providing me with an advance copy.
