My Review:
OMG…I LOVE TRIPP!! No one writes NA quite like Abbi Glines. The heat, the longing, the first loves…You Were Mine has it all. I absolutely love the Rosemary Beach series and the previous books must be read before you read Bethy and Tripp’s story. Their history is essential to this book.
This book is told in flashbacks alternating with present events. Bethy and Tripp were in love years before but certain events tore them apart and led them to the current day. They are both filled with regret and anger and yes, a huge and undeniable attraction toward each other. I love that all the characters that I love from this series make appearances here, and it is especially poignant seeing their happiness in the face of Tripp and Bethy’s misery.
I fell in love with Tripp. He will do nothing to stop at giving Bethy the happiness she deserves. This book has a lot of emotion and angst and WOW, is it ever hot!! Abbi Glines really knows how to turn up the steam. This is a fabulously satisfying entry in the Rosemary Beach series and should not be missed!!
