Synopsis:
A Man of Science.
Nicholas Robinson is a chemist decades ahead of his time. Crippled by a riding accident and embittered by his injuries, he shuns the world, focusing on his laboratory and experiments. But when the sale of his country estate, Grantley, leads to an encounter with a vampire, Nicholas realizes there is more in heaven and earth than he ever dreamed possible.
A Creature of Darkness
Although three hundred years old, Bancroft Ulwin is young by supernatural standards. Enslaved by his cruel, deformed maker, Ban is forbidden from relations with mortal men unless it ends in death. But his liaison with Nicholas, expressly against his master’s wishes, soon expands beyond mere lust to something more.
A Love Predestined
.
Long ago while still mortal, Ban met Serafino, the only true love of his life. When death separated them, Ban accepted his role as an enemy of human kind. But as he comes to suspect Nicholas is Serafino reincarnated, Ban begins to question everything he once believed. Including his own damnation.
Excerpt:
Ban surprised Sebastian by catching him round the waist and pulling him close. “I would bed you again. Show you my unbridled appetite. But that boy can work magic with flame, I’m told. Let me see his routine, and then we’ll sport.”
“Did you note the scar on his arm? On his back? He’s missed a few times, this Adonis of yours.”
“Then the act shall be all the more thrilling.”
The press of humanity was so thick around the stage, Sebastian and Ban were obliged to stand watch from the fringes. Not surprisingly, Ban was drawn in from the moment the pipers and drummers began a sinuous, malevolent tune meant to invoke the Far East, at least for those who’d never been there. Serafino appeared on stage with chest and arms oiled, a torch blazing in one hand as he accepted a volley of cheers. Twirling the torch rapidly, he paced along the edge of the stage, flicking the fire over his audience’s head.
“Do I deceive you, or is this fire?”
“Fire!” the crowd shrieked.
Hooking the torch in an iron bracket, Serafino withdrew a slimmer torch with a cloth-wrapped end. Lighting it off the first, he passed his fingers through the fire, letting his flesh linger ever longer in the flames until women began to gasp.
“I am Serafino, son of the dragon, and I fear no flame. It licks my flesh like a lover.” He seemed to caress his cheeks with the torch, drawing more gasps. “And in return, I swallow it like a lover.” Tilting his head back, Serafino fed the torch to himself, holding it with his teeth until even the men gasped. Withdrawing it, he grinned triumphantly, strutting to each side of the stage and repeating the trick until the crowd erupted in applause. Ban clapped and whistled so enthusiastically, Sebastian closed his eyes in a silent appeal for inner fortitude.
Sacred ancestors, if this fool wasn’t so handsome….
Tumblers brought Serafino a succession of the slender torches. Some he twirled, some he passed over his bare chest, others he swallowed, extinguishing the flame and exhaling the smoke through his nostrils.
“Did I not say I am the son of the dragon?” Serafino called to the crowd. “And what does the dragon do?”
“Breathes fire!” several onlookers cried.
“Behold!” Seizing the large torch from its bracket, Serafino breathed a plume of fire. Strutting again, he covered the stage in long strides, breathing fire until the crowd was in ecstasy. Then all the torches snuffed as if by magic, and a cloud of thick white smoke appeared. When it dissipated, Serafino had vanished. Of course, sufficient clapping and cheering lured the pretty boy back onstage to take his bows. Ban’s high-pitched whistles proved impossible for Serafino to miss, and Sebastian saw their eyes meet across the crowd.
“A magnificent spectacle,” he said dryly, placing a hand on Ban’s arm. “May we at last retire some place more private?”
“Of course,” Ban mumbled. And it was that very tone of obligation, of disinterest, that decided his fate.

About the Author:
Orphaned at birth, T. Baggins was raised by wolves until age fourteen, when the pack moved on one night without a forwarding address. Returning to human society, Ms. Baggins taught herself to read and write by studying fan fiction. Cutting her teeth on Kirk/Spock (Star Trek: The Original Series, baby!) she soon began slashing rock stars and X-Men. Despite a lifetime spent in the southern U.S., T. Baggins considers herself a citizen of the cosmos and a freethinker, which is good, because no one has offered so much as a penny for her thoughts. In her spare time she enjoys blogging at Shades of Gay, emptying gin bottles and tweeting into the void as @therealtbaggins.

There are many vampires I love. Angela McCallister has created an entire band of fanged “Merry Men” that I would joyfully follow around.
Soulless sounds wonderful. I am curious about the fire – is this a vampire novel or is this a dragon shifter novel? Of course, I love both, so it’s irrelevant. I’m also quite interested in the characters. Is this going to be a standalone book, or a series? I apologize for my curious nature. My questions could probably go on for days.
