Review:
We loved The Pearl Trilogy! The author has given us a twist on the usual story: Yes, we have an alpha, Alexandre, who is a gorgeous, wealthy, brilliant businessman, but he is also much, much younger than the heroine, Pearl! And, at 40, she is still insecure and trying to find herself.
After a chance meeting, Pearl and Alexandre embark on a very, very hot relationship. At times, we were yelling at Pearl to stop over-analyzing the relationship, but the storyline is great and the sex scenes do NOT disappoint. Mrs. Richmonde also gives us lush scenery and exotic locales, and there are a LOT of plot twists. Trust us, you will NOT anticipate the twists and turns of this story.
We do not want to go into too much detail about the story because it is best if you read the Pearl Trilogy with no hint of the developments.
Both Pearl and Alexandre let their pasts get in the way of their current relationship, but we loved the plot and also the secondary characters in the Pearl Trilogy. The author does a wonderful job of developing their stories, too, and we LOVED the journey these books took us on.
